MSNBC crowned her the Most Influential Cat of 2012. She is so in demand that her owner, Tabatha Bundesen, took a leave of absence from work to accomodate her schedule. Yes, we’re talking about the ubiquitous Grumpy Cat.
Her real name is Tardar Sauce, and she just inked a big screen movie deal, with Will Ferrell and Jack Black slated to co-star. Her agents also represent Nyan Cat and Keyboard Cat.
It’s not her first foray into film. She’s also starred in Andy Capper’s film, Lil Bub & Friendz, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year.
Grumpy Cat has appeared on just about every TV show but Duck Dynasty, including Anderson Cooper Live, Today, Good Morning America, VH1 Morning Buzz, the CBS Evening News, and The Soup. And of course, she has a Grumpy Cat book deal, due out in September.
