Welsh Cat Sets Frequent Flier Record

October 16, 2013 |

In what has got to be a frequent flier record, a cat from Wales recently chocked up a whopping 63,000 miles in ten days.

He escaped from his cage on a flight from Qatar to London. Owners Jonathan Boyd and Katie Deacon paid £220 to fly him back home, but were told he had vanished between Doha and Bahrain.

Fortunately, the story has a happy ending. Just over a week later they got the call that Ozzy had been found on the same plane — having flown the 3,150-mile trip between Qatar and London every day for a fortnight.
