End of an Era and the Feline Americans

Any longtime cat blogger knows and loved Daisy Mae Maus and the Feline Americans. DMM and the boys were a mainstay for many years. One by one the Feline Americans went to The Bridge, and DMM followed, leaving just Charmee behind to look after his mom. Quite unexpectedly, Charmee decided to go The Bridge on Thursday. He’d gone in for routine dental work when they discovered his kidneys  trashed from undiagnosed diabetes. He’d celebrated his tenth birthday in June.

We can’t believe they’re all gone. Say hi to Skeezix for us, will ya?

I know how Charmee’s mom feels. I just lost my Vinnie the other night. He was 18 years old and I know it was his time but I miss him so much! Getting better but still crying off and on.

Oh, that is so much sadness and loss to deal with.

And I don’t know how I missed the news about Skeezix, but I am so terribly sorry to hear about my favorite fashionista’s trip to the Bridge.
